The highly requested Serrato Style in-person educational offerings will finally be available beginning early 2026!
My goal is for you to leave our session with the knowledge and confidence to work with all textures. This isn’t just about technique—it’s about creating an experience where clients feel seen, safe, and understood.
You’ll learn how to approach the finest to the densest textures—especially when they exist on the same head—with precision and purpose. It’s about developing an eye for customization while grounding every cut in strong, intentional structure.
This class is more than just hair cutting. It’s about transforming the salon experience—especially for women of color—by leading with professionalism, care, and the knowledge to make all clients feel confident, beautiful, and valued.
We’ll cover the following:
- Language & Hair Prep
- Consultation & First Cut
- Clarifying & Deep Conditioning
- Styling & Drying
- Refining & Second Cut
Each attendee will also walk away with an illustrated handbook that they can use during class to take notes and reference once the session is over.
